Privacy policy
The short version
This site sets no cookies and does not track you around the internet. If you fill in the form or use the chat, I get what you typed so I can reply. That is all. Nothing is sold, and nothing is shared with advertisers.
Who is responsible for your information
Studio High Design, run by Rocco, based in Cardiff, Wales. I am the data controller for anything collected through this website.

What I collect, and when
When you send the contact form
Your first and last name, email address, phone number if you give one, business name if you give one, and whatever you write in the message. The form also records which page you were on and how you arrived at the site, which tells me whether people find me through Google, a link or a recommendation.
When you use the chat assistant
What you type is sent to be answered and comes back as a reply. If you ask for a call back, the name and number you give are emailed to me. The conversation stays in your own browser tab and disappears when you close it.
When you simply read the site
Nothing that identifies you. If you agreed to the anonymous visit count, my host records that a visit happened, with no cookie and nothing tying it to you.
If you pay through the site
Payments are handled entirely by Stripe on their own pages. Your card details never touch this website and I never see them. I see that a payment was made and who made it.
Why I hold it, and on what basis
- To reply to you and to quote for work. You asked me to get in touch, which is the basis for holding it.
- To carry out a project once you become a client, which is necessary for our contract.
- To keep records of work and payments, which I am required to do by law.
- To know roughly how many people visit, only if you agreed to it. You can change your mind at any time using the privacy settings link in the footer.
Who else sees it
Only the services that make the site work, and only for that purpose:
- Netlify hosts the site and keeps standard server records.
- Web3Forms delivers your form message to my inbox.
- Anthropic generates the chat assistant's replies from what you type.
- Cloudflare counts visits anonymously, and only if you agreed.
- Stripe handles payment, if you make one.
Some of these are based outside the United Kingdom, so your information may be handled overseas under the safeguards those companies have in place. I do not sell your information or pass it to anyone for marketing.
How long I keep it
Enquiries that do not become work are deleted within about a year. Client records are kept for six years after the work finishes, because tax rules require it. Chat conversations are not stored beyond your browser tab unless you asked for a call back.
Cookies and similar technology
This site sets no cookies at all. Fonts are served from this site rather than from Google, so your browser does not contact a third party just to display the page. The only outside request is the anonymous visit count, and only if you allowed it. Your answer to that is remembered in your own browser so you are not asked twice, and you can change it with the privacy settings link in the footer.
Your rights
You can ask me for a copy of what I hold about you, ask me to correct it, ask me to delete it, or object to me holding it. Email info@studiohighdesign.com and I will respond within a month. There is no charge.
If you are unhappy
Tell me first and I will try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
